For the last few months I have been running photography workshops for Mums. Ania from Time for Mums set up her business with Mum’s in mind, wanting to create something that Mums could do with or without their babies and she contacted me to see if I would be interested in running the training sessions. Teaching photography had never really crossed my mind up until that point but I am so pleased that I agreed to do it. I am thoroughly enjoying sharing my knowledge and watching other Mum’s photography improve so much in such a short space of time.
There are two types of Photography workshops that we run, the first is ‘7 rules for taking better children’s photos’, which is for parents with simple point and shoot cameras and the second course is ‘Digital photography for parents’, where you get to learn all about how to use your SLR camera and how to get the most out of it.
We have run a number of very successful training sessions now and I am thoroughly enjoying watching the students photographs improve dramatically from when they started the course to when they left.
