Last term I had the privilege of teaching some students at Stanford Lake College about Photography during their Culture period.
We did the course over 5 weeks, each week focusing on a different aspect of photography. On the last day we put everything we had learnt together and went outside to practice our skills on one brave student who “modelled” for us.
Here are a few of the images I took to show the students the different angels that can be used as well as using lines to help draw your eye to the subject.
Here are some photographs of the students practicing.
A few weeks ago I was back at Stanford taking all the Team and Group photographs and my students requested a photograph from our course, so here it is, unfortunately some of the kids were missing though.
I really enjoyed teaching the kids about photography and am hoping to go back again next year for another course.
