With this angel being 6 weeks old when her shoot took place I knew it would be more challenging than if we had done the shoot when she was younger and I told the Mom it would be unlikely to get some sleeping shots. Wrapping worked a treat though and she soon fell into a nice sleep for us to get some images of her sleeping when I slowly unwrapped her she started stirring. Older babies are much more sensitive to touch and movement which is why I usually do newborn shoots when they are much younger. The eye contact you get as they are older though is gorgeous so I’m pleased Mom contacted me to go ahead for her shoot even though she knew she may not get sleeping photographs.
