Last Saturday I ran my Photography for Beginners Course in Magoebaskloof.  I was joined by a lovely group of ladies who wanted to take more control of their cameras and understand how to better create beautiful images.  The first section of the course was spent explaining the camera, the settings and understanding all about the exposure triangle.   This gorgeous girl below was there while her Mommy took the course so she modeled for us and showed us a few of her gorgeous smiles as we practiced the Aperture part of the course.

After lunch we spoke about other factors to consider when taking photographs, the ladies learnt about some rules of photography as well as ways of drawing the viewers eye to the part of the image we want to them to look at.   We then used my 3 year old daughter to model for us so we could practice what had been taught.

Some kind words:

“The class was informative and hands-on and set at exactly the right level, it was relaxed enough to encourage group participation and questions.  I will definitely recommend the class.” – Ruth

“I had no knowledge about a camera whatsoever.  I really learned and understood the information.  I know that I will have to practice a lot to apply the knowledge.” – Charlene

“Wow Penny you are an excellent teacher.  You take time with each of your students.  Being a complete beginner in photography I felt special.  Thank you so much.” – Petronella
