The venues are provisionally booked and the dates have been set. If you would like to attend one of my courses this year then please get in touch.
If you own a Bridge or SLR Camera and are struggling to still get the photographs you want, or, if you prefer taking photographs with your phone because it is “easy” then you need to come on this course. I will take you from the start and teach you all about your camera, what it does and the importance of using certain settings at certain times. Not only do we cover the Camera but we also talk about Light, Composition, Posing and Editing – all these variables make a huge difference to your photography and I can guarantee you, that if you keep practicing your photographs will take a huge turn for the better. You won’t be happy to leave your photographs on your camera / computer or phone anymore, you will be taking photographs that you are proud of and ones that you will be happy to have enlarged on your wall!
I have run a lot of courses in the last few years in South Africa (and in the UK before that) and I have seen lots of “light bulb moments” where people all of a sudden “get it”, I don’t rush the course, I know some people take longer to learn than others and I make sure that I spend individual time with each of you explaining anything that you are still struggling with.
Not only do you have the full course with me but I also give you a digital PDF manual to take away with you, only once you have done the course will you understand the manual fully and will be able to revert to it whenever you are struggling with something or need to refresh your memory.
The next courses I will be running are:
Tzaneen, on the 22nd and 23rd of February (times are to be confirmed once we know school sport fixtures for those with kids still at school); and
Pietermaritzburg, 18th April. I realise this is Good Friday but unfortunately this is the ONLY time I will be able to run a course in PMB this year so I hope you will be able to make it if you are keen.
As I can’t write a blog post without photos here are some pics from the last course I ran in Haenertsburg, work/life got hectic and I never had a chance to blog them.

Hi there,
This might be a stupid question but do I need to have my own camera for the Pmb photography course?
Thanks
