If you follow me on Facebook or my blog you will know that we added a new little life to our family last year.  I have yet to blog photographs from her photography sessions, so here is the first one.  One thing that I have always loved is the Tatty Teddy Theme so when I started planning my newborn session before my daughter arrived I contacted a knitter and asked her to make a Tatty Teddy set for me, we worked on a pattern together and came up with the set below.  It is customisable so it could be used with a girl or a boy (we didn’t find out what we were having when I was pregnant).  The reason for this blog post is to show you how I did her little nursery with the vision I had of using the photographs from her session.  I am very lucky to have a talented Mom who sews beautifully so she made the bedding for me.  I still have to put curtains on the windows and add a few touches but for now it works.  I have pictures on the walls which was the main objective.

So here are a few variations I tried with the Tatty Teddy Set.

and I settled on this one to enlarge and have put onto canvas.

Below is a little insight into her room showing the photographs that I have displayed.

In a while I will upload photographs from her 6 month shoot showing how I have carried this theme through.  I am still trying to decide how I should display those images.
